Tumor cells lining the glands were cuboidal to columnar, with abundant pale, eosinophilic cytoplasm showing vacuoles at places, and basal, hyperchromatic nuclei. On immunohistochemistry, the tumor cells revealed positivity for pancytokeratin, epithelial membrane antigen, and TTF-1, whereas they were negative for calretinin and D2-40.
